I started the day with a trip to Oudenaarde, to the museum of the Tour of Flanders. Was very cool with some serious memorabilia. Particularly liked the footage of the team car running over a bike, on one of the climbs - the rider was just being too slow getting out of the way.. Crikey !
Next I headed to Roubaix... Yep Roubaix... To check into the new hotel. Then off the St Quentin to check in for the ride.... Then off to the airport in Paris to pickup the Chicken ! Let me say... One very excited chicken !!
Then we talked all the way back to St Quentin for the Chicken to register.... And home to Roubaix. It's 11pm and the chicken is still putting his bike together (were planning to get up at 5).
So, tomorrow is the big day... It looks like the weather will be great.. And i think were pretty confident. Our plan is to continue after the Carrefour de l'arbre (where the official ride is ending) and on to the velodrome in Roubaix (about an extra 12k), and then ride back ti the hotel. Well pick up the car tomorrow from St Quentin !

Good to see the fun has continued. They will have to update the Museum to add your heroics. The Chicken looks glowing - lets hope he doesn't get roasted tomorrow. I want you to buy as much PR specific clothing as you can and bring it out piece by piece to wind me up for maximum length of time. It looks a bit Devil esq - you'll be running up Cols next with a 3 prong fork.
